Breeding dogs has been a long tradition in our family. Already my great-grandfather was an active breeder and a trainer of hunting dogs, especially German short-haired pointing dogs and his kennel called "Hamry" was well-known during the Twentieth in the 20th century.
The kennel called "Vitoraz" was authorized in 1990. Its name originated from an Austrian picture postcard town called Weitra. It was also a name of a large domination which reached up to a present part of the Czech Republic called Southern Bohemia many years ago. Both my parents were born in this region where I spend practically all my free time with my dogs. I also train and prepare them for hunting exams here.
We are owners and breeders of wirehaired dachshunds miniature and kaninchen which we represent on many shows in Czech Republic, all around Europe and also in hunting exams. In spite af the fact we have been working only with two females - some national and also international beauty champions were born into our kennel. As for people interested in our puppies, we offer a permanent breeder's service, advice and help during preparation for hunting exams as well as handling dogs on shows.
Our main aim is breedeing healthy, vital and strong puppies with first-rate exterior and well-balenced character in order to remain dachshunds as a perfect hunting dog and good friend for all of us in future.
